Worcester Society of Artists 10th September - 15th October 2011 The annual exhibition by this enthusiastic group of local artists is always a popular event. The exhibition includes a wide range of paintings and ceramics, many of which are for sale The Worcester Society of Artists originated as the Visual Arts Group of S.A.M.A. (Society for the Advancement of Music and Vsual Arts), over 60 years ago, now a self governing body, but with a close association with the Worcester Swan Theatre and Worcester Arts Theatre Group. Art work in various media presented by the members of the society to celebrate another year of working together. The WSA is a thriving Art Society of amateurs and professional artists. The Worcester Society of Artists exhibits annually at Worcester City Art Gallery and meets weekly at the Bromwich Road Mission for a programme of lectures, demonstrations, practical sessions and exhibitions.
