Two Art Galleries in the West Midlands are celebrating an influential artistic dynasty this spring.
Samuel Lines, the son of a Warwickshire school teacher, founded the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and his sons followed in his footsteps. Many of the finest mid-nineteenth century British artists were taught and inspired by the Lines family.
