Angie Bishop, Visitor Services Manager says "The Ace is an institution in Brent and for thousands of people across the country. We are really looking forward to celebrating the spirit of youth and rebellion that the Ace has fostered. The exhibition promises to be lots of fun and is sure to be a smash hit”
The exhibition opens on Saturday 16th January and runs until Saturday 17th April and takes inspiration from the memories of Ace Cafe regulars as well as those who remember the 1950s and 1960s. It features a selection of historic Ace Cafe artefacts, 1950-60s household objects, music and movie memorabilia and a host of iconic classic black and white images. Ace Cafe London founder, Mark Wilsmore, says, "We are delighted and honoured to be involved with this exhibition and the insight it provides. Today, as in the 1950s and 1960s, the Ace is all about community, with visitors attending from Neasden to North America".
