Early medieval cooking pots from Worcester - The pottery industry has a long history in the City; potters were working in Northwick and The Tything as early as 1187. Broken cooking pots are a frequent find on archaeological sites. These examples were found at Sidbury and were either made in Worcester or Malvern Chase.
