King Street (1902)

Anonymous

King Street was lined with timber-framed and brick cottages until this century. Chamberlain's porcelain factory developed on the site behind the buildings to the left, and on amalgamation in 1840 with the factory founded by Dr. Wall, this became the Royal Worcester Porcelain Works, which still flourishes on the site today. This view by E.A.Phipson is dated 1902.
