The junction of the Rivers Severn and Teme (early 18th century)

Anonymous

The junction of the Rivers Severn and Teme to the south of Worcester from a print of 1825. In the background can be seen the Malvern Hills and the tower of Powick Church. The meadows around the River Teme were the scene of much fighting in the second battle of Worcester in 1651. The sailing vessels or trows carried cargo between Worcester, Gloucester and Bristol.
