All Hallows (18th century)

Anonymous

This fine 18th century view of All Hallows, shows All Saints Church behind a row of houses. In the foreground is a conduit. All Hallows was the first open market place to be reached across the medieval bridge and had its origins as a cattle market serving the west of the county.
