St Andrew's Church and Copenhagen Street (1912)

by K.J. Minchin

The spire of St Andrew's Church still survives and is known as the Glover's Needle, as this area was largely occupied by people engaged in gloving from the 17th to the 20th centuries. However, the streets have been cleared since the 1920s and the buildings seen here largely demolished.
