St. Helen's Church
(1878)

Anonymous

St Helen's Church in 1878 before restoration, when the dormer windows were removed. Much of the fabric is late medieval, though the site may have been used for worship as early as the late roman period. The 12th century parish extended from Martley in the west to Oddingley in the east, reflecting St Helen's role as a major church in anglo-saxon Worcester.
