Queen Elizabeth House (after 1891)
by F.Barribal

In 1891, Mayor Smith-Carrington raised money to save the building from a road improvement scheme and it was moved on greased rails to an adjacent site. This view by F.Barribal shows it much as it appears today, though the chimney has been removed. A complete exterior renovation was carried out in 1995, and the house is currently used by Worcester City Museum.
