Anonymous

This 19th century print shows the Shire Hall beyond iron railings and before the erection of the statue of Queen Victoria in 1887. The Shire Hall was built in 1834-5 to a grecian design by Charles Day and Henry Rave. A major refurbishment was completed in 1995.
