The Guesten Hall (1844)
by H.H.Lines

The western side of the Guesten Hall painted by H.H.Lines in 1844. The site of the hall is now a lawn to the south of the Cathedral. It was demolished in 1862-6, but the fine timber roof was saved and reused in Holy Trinity Church, Shrub Hill Road. It is now on display at Avoncroft Museum of Buildings.
