The monastic Infirmary (1873)

by H.H. Lines

This medieval vaulted chamber was part of the monastic infirmary, which stood to the west of the Cathedral church. After the Dissolution it was incorporated into a prebendal house, which in turn was demolished in 1851. This view by H.H. Lines dates from September 1873.
