The Social History Collection held by the City Museum contains many thousands of old photographs of Worcester. A number of these are already available on this web site through our Old Photographs and Paintings area, and sprinkled through some of our on-line exhibitions such as the Spirit of Enterprise show.

Aside from being an important repository of information about the City in the past, these old images also serve as an interesting comparison to the City as it is today.

The aim of our Now & Then area is to provide you with some of these modern reflections, which we hope you find of interest.
