The Dent & Allcroft "Glove Manufacturer" marked on the 1886 1:2500 OS map The Dent & Allcroft Glove factory, South Quay, (marked on the left on the 1886 1:2500 OS map), was formerly occupied by the Flight & Barr Porcelain Company.

The factory complex was demolished during the early 1960's to make way for the Worcester Technical College buildings.
