Angel Place before the Blackfriars development in the early 1960's.
The Lewis and Clark Brewery can be seen in the background. This area
was comprehensively redeveloped in the late 1960's to form a car park
and shopping centre - known as the Blackfriars/ Centrovincial development.
In the early 1990's this precinct was completely refurbished and now
forms part of the Crowngate shopping centre and bus station. |
