South Quay, looking up Copenhagen Street to St. Andrew's Spire, 2004
South Quay looking up Copenhagen Street in 2004. This area was cleared in the 1930's as part of a slum clearance programme. St Andrew's church was demolished during the 1940's, although the 18th century spire was retained. Today the area has been developed into public gardens, while the Technical College car park occupies the right hand side of the photograph.
