Bull Entry/Deansway (ex-Birdport Street) in 2004. This area along
Birdport/Bull Entry was demolished as part of a slum clearance during
the 1930's, while the line of Birdport was changed during the 1940's
to become Deansway. Bull Entry still exists, but now as a driveway
which runs behind the College of Technology's St Wulstan's building
- originally built as a police station in 1939 (Bull Entry sign adjacent
to pillar on the left). |
