The Fine Art Collection includes oil paintings, watercolours,
drawings, prints and sculptures, photography and video. It is
a very diverse collection with individual important works such
as
Chadding on Mounts Bay by Stanhope Forbes (on the right) and
has strengths in key areas such as 19th century landscape and
watercolour painting. |

Work on digitizing the Art Collection, starting with the oil paintings,
is currently underway. As this will take "a while" to
complete, however, we thought we'd upload the material in batches
so that you can start enjoying the collection right away.
Due to limited photographic access to some of the works, one or
two of the images in this collection are marked "Temporary".
These will be replaced as soon as better quality images are available.
Use the "Artist Index" to explore the Collection - names
highlighted in blue have their work uploaded, those in black do
not. Our aim is to upload the remainder of the oil paintings by
the end of August and then to start work on the watercolours.
